Welcome to the Timber Trot! We are so excited to be running the fun run event ourselves again this year. The Timber Trot promotes a healthy and fun event with raising essential funding for important educational initiatives in our school. This is our largest fundraiser of the year!
Students will need to register for the event via GetMovin Fund Hub that allows students to create a profile that can be shared with friends and family. Students will work towards raising money and at various levels will earn individual and school wide incentives. At the conclusion of our campaign, we're gonna RUN, gonna JOG, gonna WALK, and have some FUN!
The event takes place on the walking trail next to the playground. Parents are welcome to come cheer on their students during their class run time. In addition, we will sell Timber Trot Shout Out signs that we will stack into the ground around the trail. Be sure to decorate it with words of encouragement. Don't forget to add your students name, teacher name, and grade to the back so we can return the signs to the students the week after the event.
Donations will be collected through the GetMovin Fund Hub website, but cash and checks are welcome. Cash or checks must be in an envelope with the students name, teachers name, amount, and the donor'sand name with checks made out to CT PTO.

They just go to https://www.getmovinfundhub.com/register and they will click the "Register as Parent" link at the top. They will enter this code under "Optional Student Information" in the "School Identifier" field.
ABOUT THE EVENT: Every student will receive a TImber Trot Shirt that will be worn the day of the event. This year each grade will get a different color with 5th grade receiving white shirt for the color run. Shirts will not go home with the students, they will be in the classrooms for the students to put on the day of the event.
The Fun Run takes place on the CT playground. Parents do not have to check in, but go straight to the playground. No parents will be allowed in the building, even after the run ends! After the run concludes all parents will go to the blacktop and students will line up and head towards the blacktop. Once there the students will get Kona Ice (unless the class goes before the run based on class and lunch schedules).
